service on Thursday was great! surprisingly, i gathered enough courage to serve Mr Goh's table of 6, 2 teachers and 4 chefs. i even recommended mocktail of the day for Mr Goh. oh mann. i think i did fairly well; not absolutely perfect but passable. glad i finally proved myself in front of many people.

went back to school on Friday for project meeting and wine pouring practice. homomo went on a cruise with his family on Friday 5pm too! (: hope he will have fun!

skipped my accounting and TTO tutorial to so-called 'clear my leave'. haha. had a perfect attendance for this semester so decided to clear my 'off-day'. Doreen wasn't feeling very well so i cabbed home with her. get well soon girl!

clara almost lost her laptop today. blur girl left it in the lecture theater. she freaked out suddenly while queuing for ice cream. luckily she found it back. was so funny because her laptop case was orange and it kinda camouflaged among the chairs. she panicked and said 'how shuhan! really missing le!' when it is like right in front of her eyes. hahaha. i guess people go blind when they are scared.

just cut my nails. yes yes, you're right. SERVICE TMR. omg. SCREAM AND STORM AROUND, STEPPING PEOPLE'S FEET. gonna pack my bag later and start memorising menus and order code later =( my cough is still pretty serious so i hope tmr i will be fine and kicking...... proficiency test 2 is coming too. gonna practice harder since wine pouring is also part of the assessment. tough situation creates tough people.

didn't have a good rest recently because of the constant coughing at night. always woke up halfway and couldn't get back to sleep.. i need more rest...... hope i can have a good rest tonight to be in top shape tmr.

this would be a veryyyyy long post. full of pictures, rantings, tears and smiles.

had an extremely busy week, all thanks to TTO project which nearly drove me up the wall. imagine staying in school until 8:30pm on wed. might sound 'ok' to some of you, but definitely not to me because my school is in Tampines! furthermore, me and some of my group mates rushed like mad on wed night, not forgetting there would be service class on thurs. imagine rushing till 1am and wake up at 5:30am for service. i was basically going mad and felt like crying through out thursday. i forgot to cut my nails for service, my hair was a total mess, half of the service class didn't turn up cause of TTO, i was sick, bah bah bah (and the list goes on...)

so much things happened during service class this week. can't imagine how much impact can an eight hour class do to us. not very convenient to say and comment much here but it was really bad. so many cried and so many screwed up. i screwed up too, and was in fact insulted by someone right even before service starts. sighh. crying might really be just pure self-pity, but i really pity myself.

after service, stayed back in school until 10:20pm. i was on time for the last bus and got home around 11:30pm. was already dying by that time and was extremely mad with people. many people. classmates, group mates, myself and everyone. didn't sleep well cause of the constant coughing and fever.

we got our individual 'roles' after the movie. i am the dead twin while patrick is the living BUT evil twin and doreen is the maid.

super no life now! rushing tto day and night. just reached home not long ago. my right eye is having slight infection so a bit swollen. and NO, i repeat, i did not peep at people bathing or peeing, so stop laughing at me! HAHA. okok. revenge for me since i laughed at homomo when his eye was swollen that time. went to see a doc ytd to get some cream and it cost $25! actually didn't think it was a big deal until dad basically freaked out when i told him about my eye. you know, DADDYS.

went to school for accounting lecture today. extremely boring until i silently swear i won't befriend any accounting people. HAHA. okok. so mean but i really got a feeling all accounting people are boring. i mean, even SUPER obvious points like 'First-in-first-out' method, which FREAKING OBVIOUS means that the inventory that is purchased first will be the one out first - but mr ant must go through super long! i yawned like 835546856345 times in 2 hours loh.

after that, went sugar loaf to have a short break and went for service lecture. rahhs. second service proficiency test coming AGAIN. more more more more things and skills tested! wine opening and order taking - my worst fears, are in this time! oh noooo.

after service lecture, we went suntec to find NTO China for our project. one china man there was very friendly and entertained us tho we are students. but aiyahh, his china accent really makes it difficult for us to understand what he is talking about. and we realised we didn't know how to say 'project' and 'itinerary' in mandarin. super fan lah, having to act like a very pro chinese speaker. but the brochures provided there was all so high class! we were like thinking if we can take it cause it's too glossy and classy to be true. we were afraid that the alarm might beep if we bring it out. hahaha! kiasu!

went Sakae Sushi for lunch and did our project there. 6 people add up to $105! omg. ended up super full and felt like vomiting.

me and homomo still can't get to watch it despite trying the second time to get the tickets. went to cwp with him for dinner and to collect his notes. shopped around and decided to go cck to try our luck at the cinema there. but failed attempt! anyway, it's our 1 and a half year together! i think i am the most pampered girl on earth (: OR am i the most lucky little secret? :P

okaysss. back to accounting now. shitttt man. hate it. like so nonsense lah. there's all these high tech Point-of-Sale System which can basically print all the reports out in a click. WHY EVEN BOTHER LEARNING HOW TO MANUALLY DO THE REPORTS??

okay, long time to see. haha. was really busy with my work and school. students demanding for lessons and school demanding more of my time. finally, i am left with 2 more projects - french and TTO.

5 projects down - Business Entreprenuership, Business Etiquette, Service Skills, Geo Travel, APEL. i wonder if i will do well. and accounting is just full of long manual troublesome calculations and all of a sudden, tutors can just pop a test out of nowhere. having accounting test on monday. BORING. i just started studying chpt 6, with 7 and 8 to go.

service this week was okay. no major mistake like my first classic. except for some people's nonsense which i will not think about it anymore. i don't dislike her, i just feel that she should change her way of treating people.. i wasn't entirely at fault, and i really feel that she have no rights to be so rude to me. call me unprofessional if you want to, but i believe that to work, you must treat people with the basic respect. why work with so much stress when you can treat everyone nicely and work happily with everyone? no one likes to make mistakes; so if you see one, just bring it up in a nicer way. haven't you ever think why people dislike you, instead of not liking the other people? i mean, there are so many students in the thurs session, but why you?

and after saying so much about the above person, another disappointment from one of my favourite teacher. sighh. he's such a mean person too. i didn't know that after his bo-chap attitude when i told him there's blood in a customer's chicken. so you eventually proved my judgement wrong huh?

sth random. i think i am very similar to Clara. both of us got very bad temper and we can't stand people being rude. i think she's my angel at times because i am not used to not seeing her during service.

anyway, just an update. i wasn't drunk on tues wine drinking session! but i am so in love with wine drinking now.

oh oh, went to watch harry potter with homomo yesterday. his treat since he complained i am the worst ticket buyer on earth. (he didn't say that but his other words mean exactly the same) lol. and he was extremely petty, not willing to let me drink a sip of his strawberry Each-a-cup bubble tea. and i think harry potter 1 is the best still (: during the movie, i really feel like kicking mr ho out because he basically know what's gonna happen next and i was so confused. like, wasting ticket right! :P

It really makes me boil today when I boarded Bus 962 at around 2:20pm at the bus stop near wld interchange. I remembered buying a bus concession but what surprised me was that the machine started beeping when I tap my card, stating that I got to use cash to pay for my trip instead. I gave up and tried to look for coins but to realize that I only have got a 2 dollar note. Leaving with no choice, I got to use that to board the bus when I only have got to pay mere 90 cents!

Fine, my only bloody fault for not having coins with me. But I wasn’t very happy about the fact that my concession “isn’t working”. So after reaching the interchange, I politely asked the BUS CAPTAIN if this bus is an express bus (because bus concession doesn’t apply for express bus).

“uncle, zhe ge bus bu ke yi yong concession ah?”

“she me concession!” (DAMN FIERCE)

“bus concession. Xue shen de.”

“bu dong ni zai jiang she me la!” (DAMN FIERCE ONCE AGAIN, WAVING HIS SMELLY HANDS AROUND MY FACE)

ME, A GOOD TP STUDENT, TAKE A TOTAL OF 6 BUS TRIPS EVERYDAY. IF YOUR THICK BRAIN CAN’T DO CALCULATIONS, LET ME TEACH YOU.

1 week represent 5 days of school (sometimes up to 7 like this bloody stressful week)
Therefore, 5 days of school represent (5x6) = 30 trips
1 year of school (taking into account my 2 mths holidays) = 12 mths – 2 mths = 10 months
1 month = 4 weeks
10 months = 4X10 = 40 weeks
40 weeks = 40x7 days= 280 days
280 days x 6 trips = 1680 trips
and assuming 1 bus trip is an average of ($1+$1.90)/2 = $1.45,

Ok. After that, I got to carry my heavy laptop to the CUSTOMER SERVICE counter, risking the fact that my 168 might just simply come anytime. I was so happy seeing that there was no one, so I don’t have to queue. WHAT IS THE STUPID ANSWER I GET?

HAHA. What the hell! Upstairs? I thought THIS is the customer service counter? OH OH, so it’s upstairs now? HAHA. What the hell! TEAR THAT INNOCENT LOOKING OH-HERE-IS-YOUR-ONE-AND-ONLY CUSTOMER SERVICE SIGN OFF YOUR GLASS PLEASE!

So once again, I emphasize, me, a lady, all hot and tired and almost late, went upstairs to the MRT customer service counter. And wow, what I saw was an extremely long queue. OH, so now all people who require service must queue upstairs when the 2 happy uncles downstairs just got to direct people upstairs? NAME YOURSELF “DIRECT CUSTOMER UPSTAIRS COUNTER” INSTEAD THEN!

So, I decided not to wait and went downstairs. My 168 finally came and I board it, not knowing if my bus concession will be rejected again. Nope, it was okay.

OH, I didn’t know customers got to experiment themselves to guess if a bus is an express bus or not! WOW! Now I know bus 962 is an express bus that doesn’t accept bus concession! So do I receive any prize for guessing it right or not huh, SBS?

So, once again! ME, A LADY, boarded the bus, carrying my stupid heavy adaptor and laptop and went upstairs. My face was a “DO NOT PROVOKE ME” expression and the bus started to move. I lost my balance and ACCIDENTALLY banged into a lady’s shoulder SUPER LIGHTLY and she glared at me and went “TSK” so loud OK!

I almost used to my laptop to smack her face but of course, I do not want to ruin my future so soon yet. I apologized and got so mad with everyone on earth for being so rude and unfeeling.

Now it’s 3.02pm. I am writing this whole entry in a Microsoft word cause I am still on bus 168, with no internet connection. I need to write it out so I won’t feel so angry thru the trip with nth to vent it on.

p.s. the above stated about beating the bus captain was just a moment of anger. If in any case SBS read my entry, I DO NOT, I repeat, I DO NOT, encourage people to threaten the lives of your bus captains. I am just pure angry at the extremely poor attitude of one of your bus captain.
