Okay. So Hong Kong is getting colder and colder day by day, Shau Kei Wan side is now approximately 14 degree Celsius. Wooo... i like. The weather here is like a woman having her period - unpredictable and irritable.

Once upon a time, a long long time ago, maybe yesterday, it was still 24 degree Celsius over at Hong Kong island and it just went down overnight. Roller coaster ride huh? My toes are a lil numb now. I think, i think, i need a proper winter jacket now. Whatever lah. I just stick out like a sore thumb in Hong Kong because I just don't behave and dress like one.

yesterday was offerings day to the God of In-room dining, who protect us from evil guests, OT, big-potato surprise checks, and bless us with high revenue, more bonus, less tasks, more food to steal etc etc etc. He/She is a very busy god ok. We decided to be less traditional and offered sushi, eggtarts and agar-agar to the God of In-room dining. Woohoo. Of course, the usual boring duck and chicken were offered as well. God of In-room dining must be thinking: WAH! more variety! Shiok ah!


This is my ex-trainer Marco, who used to be in charge of me when I was trained as a server. He was the one who bought the sushi. I secretly think he got cravings for sushi ytd that's why he bought that as offerings :P

OMG OMG OMG. i am so happy today. everything is just perfect today.

1. i realised i'll be off on christmas day. I DIDN'T EVEN REQUEST FOR IT and I GOT IT.
2. the amenity sending went smoothly today!
3. the food in the canteen was good!
4. chankai called on time!
5. i had sushi for dinner! (altho alone but i still feel very happy because of my good day)
6. my blanket is clean now after washing!
7. my room still smell like dettol!

a brand new week for me at work as i was transferred to the office in in-room dining. no longer running like a crazy dog around the hotel and serviced apartment, no longer sweating and smelly at the end of the day. in fact, this time round, i'm learning how to earn with my brain.

loads of paper works await me once i enter the office at 7am. stacking up as high as me, i will have to swallow every details painfully. working in a dynamic industry is not easy. changes happen all the time.

change in room --> change in amenity --> change in charges of amenities sent --> change of guest's status --> follow-up previous room and its amenities.

so i kept going back to those files, canceling out, adding in, editing... god, and that goes on and on until 11:30am, when my trainer will reward me 45 mins of break time. and after my break, the cycle will continue until 4pm.


the office i'm working in. facing computer, micro system and papers all day.

and when is my favourite time of the week?

time spent with my close friends in four seasons of course.

and so we did. the end result was fabulous, but my camera was too lousy!

happy belated bird-day to me. i'm finally 19.

working like a dog lately. OT like crazy because of a special group of guests. worked like 12 hours a day... imagine standing for 12 hours. i was so drained that i totally forgot about the meeting with the HR for trainees that day. lingwei called me at 11am when i was still far far away in my dreamland.

BODY SHOP STRAWBERRY FLAVOR BODY BUTTER AND BATHING STUFF. god. totally what i need for winter. KISSES FOR MISS TAN LINGWEI. now i smell like strawberry (:

then off to work. work sucks as usual, no doubt. sweet flora baked a cake for me and kopped 6 strawberries dipped in chocolate for me. hahaha. damn sweet of her. and my colleagues surprised me with a birthday cake during daily staff briefing. oh mannn. chef ringo baked a berries cake for me because they knew i love berries. (which totally explain why their berries stock are depleting so fast.)
