shuhan here.

i'm back peopleee!

finally free of viruses! all ready for my malaysia trip.

went out with chankai yesterday. planned to catch his friend's church performance together at a church near mt faber but we decided not to go at the very last minute because we wanted to visit the Times book fair at expo. went all the way to expo and bought so many books! i love book fairs especially trips made with chankai because he knows what kind of books i like! bought three books (all chosen by him), an assessment book for my student, and he bought a novel and a recipe book for his mom. 6 wonderful books only $50 over! i was looking around for Jodi Picoult's books but found none. i'm in love with this author after dear daphne bought one of her books as a Christmas gift for me. i love the smell of books! (inhale!) going to bring one with me to malaysia (: chankai had a hard time pulling me out of the book fair, with me touching the books and looking here and there even though we have already paid for our books. hahaha!

he suggested to lunch at changi airport. saw a horribly long escalator.

ck: a tourist fell from this escalator and died leh.
me: THIS? (pointing to the escalator)
ck: yah. so you better hold properly.
me: oh ok. (very scared one moment)
me: *jump around the next moment

hahaha. i am just too hyperactive.

ate at burger king (his fav) and both of us drooled at air stewardesses. Singapore Airline is still the best. tehehe. took sky train to T3 after lunch and he kept reminding me to find the thousand bucks seats in the terminal. didn't find it eventually. beautiful terminal, wonderful design. he was very tempted to shop at those beautiful duty free shops, but i was more interested in taking a plane and fly to somewhere far.

went to tampines mall after exploring T3. i loveee the 'korean' shop in tampines mall, selling all those freaking adorable stuffs. i love every single thing there! forced chankai to witness my 'omg-so-cute' madness in the shop. was really tempted to buy the passport cover but i was so broke after buying all the books. HINT HINT. AMK hub also got their outlet leh! HINTT.

HAHAHAHA.

watched Spiderwick and i think it's a little bit boring. almost fell asleep halfway through the show. both of us were like taking turns to yawn? i think yawning is really contagious. took 168 back home. remind me of school. eeyerr. haha. was really tempted to alight at ikea and eat meatballs but he was really tired so decided not to torture him.

anyway, after resting for such a long long long long time, i'm back to Bakerzin and money making. will be back to Bakers in April. must make use of this chance to learn bar! going to irritate my Siamese twin (PATRICKKKKK) in the outlet (: one more proper week of rest and playing.

things not yet accomplished:
1. IMPORTANT sushi and shopping date with daphne
2. my taiwan drama not even halfway done
3. my cruise trip... (tho 99.999999% not possible)
4. my french book collecting dust.... i need to touch it once.

loves.

shuhan here.

helloooo.

i'm still sick. yes, it has already been a week plus plus plus (plus GST and service charge) but i'm still unwell. my dad finally had enough of seeing me moaning on the sofa day and night, and gave me 70 bucks to visit a doctor. so, i did yesterday, and got the usual antibiotics (extremely huge huge huge white oval pills in attempt to choke me to death), and those drowsy runny nose yellow pills, and some random ones.

'drink more water, rest more, don't exercise for this period of time.'

yaaaahh yyahhhh yaaahhh. they always say that. even chankai said the same thing, so i think he can be a doctor already. i've been resting so much these few days. in bed by 11pm, wake up at 11am. in bed again at 3pm afternoon because of the drowsy effect, wake up at 5pm. and again, the cycle goes. that feeling is great, the working pace is slow, you know you got nth to rush and you can sleep soundly... but i don't wanna make it a habit or i will have a hard time trying to get rid of the habit when school reopen. sighhs.

the good thing about being sick is that mom will never scream at me no matter how restless i am, lying on the sofa for hours in front of the tv. she won't get me to wash dishes or nag at me to work. tehehehe. that's good.

anyway, i'll be going to Malacca on the 28th. even tho being sick would help me block off mom's naggings, i still wish to recover by then to enjoy my trip. i need to rest and relax...

loves.

shuhan here.

was really sick after the IT show. it started off with an inflamed throat due to non-stop screaming to customers at the noisy IT show, and runny nose came, then fever at the last day of IT show. my body temp kept rising, i was hyperventilating the entire night and started to tear because my eyes were so dry. freaking horrible that night but feel so much better now.

went out with my star and clara yesterday. met patrick earlier to buy cakes at Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie as a birthday surprise for clara (: Canelé serve really pretty and tasty cakes (but prices a little steep). their cake packing is soooo classy that me and patrick kept thinking how rich we look with their bag. hahahah. madness. went to Billy Bombers and got the manager to keep the cakes first and serve it out after the meal. beautiful surprise, and clara loveeee it (:

watched Leap Years after that at Marina Square GV. nice show, but prepare tissues. was intending to chill at Irish pub after the movie but i was having fever so not the right time to drink. chilled at TCC instead. i am IN LOVEEE with rose bud tea. but it somehow reminded me of how lizhen used to make rose bud tea for me in bakerzin. saddddded man.

got to apologise to the 2 girls for being so lifeless because i was really feeling very sick. let's go drink someday ok! i'll get well soon enough to do stupid things with you girls again.

my fault for thinking so highly of myself. promised my primary school junior, ee ling, to go out with her today, so can't cancel it even i'm running a fever. watched 10,000 BC with her today at cineleisure and had lunch. nice talking to her, really didn't see this little girl for a long time. went to cityhall to meet daddy and brother for dinner and pool. muthu muthu muthu curry.

my body feel like a battery, limited energy... i need to rest...

anyway, sth funny from patrick's blog. sometimes it's really funny to see how a hot tempered me try to attempt to work in service industry and got to face stupid people.

Questions of the day:

What is inside Darjeeling tea?

(I desperately want to tell her: 'urms tea leaves?' but oh wells, I manage to fight back and gave the most sensible answer I can think of)

A sequel to the first question - What is Iced Tea?

(Dammit Gordon almost died-ed. )

Singaporeans are so funny sometimes.

i don't care, i wanna book cruise by this week and relax myself.. i need to escape.

if i'm an onion, i think i'll be the freshest because no one will have the chance to peel through so many layers of me; before you get to see the last layer, you'll sure be tearing really badly to continue. To see what is inside me? Cut me apart.

你会鼻酸你会流泪

i earned $405.66 for the 4 days IT fair!!

*dance around*

love this song.

i'm so :

B.O.R.E.D.

okay. before the exams, i keep coming up with a mental list of what to do after liberation, so i can't focus because all the things on my mental list are far more interesting than what are on the notes. and now, i got nth to do. firstly, my korean drama dvd just hang (for no reason). i can't fast forward or rewind that bleeding disc. it just freeze there, with the korean lady face distorted from crying and FREEZE! secondly, i can't have a proper afternoon nap with xian xian tugging my hair, and using it as a military field or forest, with his toy car vooming around my head.

luckily, tmr i am going to WORK. finally. i really hate rotting at home with nth to do. when i get my pay, i'm going to buy sneakers. tehehhe.

anyway, i dreamt of sth scary last night. i dreamt that my mom came home with a thick stack of letters from TP and told me my aunt just won lottery and she's going to treat us all for dinner. my attention was on the letters so i started opening it, thinking it might be some warning letter about me not attending tutorial. BUT it is the exams results! and i failed economics!

loophole of this dream is that i am not taking economics this semester, and i've already cleared that module in year 1. what crap man... even my dream sounds boring.

i think i need a dream catcher.

dream on, dream on, dream on,
dream yourself a dream come true
dream on, dream on, dream on

new skin for a new beginning! shall stick to this blogskin until i find a better one.

gonna meet patrick the starfish aka my siamese twin later for movie at marina! LEAP YEAR LEAP YEAR LEAP YEAR! i miss work alot =(

okayy. i shall go change and time to head out to bakers to find my starfish.

bye peeps.

p.s. i didn't meet my starfish afterall because it was raining and i got no umbrella.

can you believe that my house don't even have a bleeding proper umbrella for me to use? and can you believe that in a family of 4, there is only ONE pathetic umbrella that was with my mom at that time and she was outside?
can you believe that i didn't go out because it was just RAINING?
can you believe that i had already changed and actually went down already when the rain decided to just pour on me and i rushed back to my UMBRELLA-less HOUSE to find an UMBRELLA?

i seriously think we are qualified to take part in the Ripley's believe-it-or-not.

under my umbrella (ella ella eh eh eh)
you can stand under my umbrella (ella ella eh eh eh)

happy belated leap year everyone! <3

wanted to catch 'The Leap Year' with chankai yesterday at cwp. BUT, chankai, being very stubborn, wanted to go vivo instead cause i think he was quite worried that the paparazzi will take shots of him with another girl and publish it on Lian He, Today, Straits Times and Business Times. so yeah, just to make sure the paparazzi don't catch us, i decided to sacrifice my TEN dollars note to top up my negative value ez-link card and travelled all the way to vivo (again) to catch Leap Year.

seriously, i always think GV at Vivo screen damn limited shows. you guess it, we didn't manage to catch leap year. so i started complaining and debating why we need to go vivo when we can simply catch Leap Year at cwp (yada yada) and suddenly a NEW timeslot came out for 'Juno'. at first i thought chankai was being paranoid when he insisted he saw a new timeslot for Juno, but it's true anyway.

NICE SHOW. alot of funny scenes, juno is real funny, tossing off witty and pithy comments all the time, juno's stepmother terrorizing the ultrasound technician verbally and the bimbotic friend of Juno who think teachers are hot etc etc. but not recommended for people who can't catch english with accent cause there is no subtitles. and don't watch this show with your girlfriend who is pregnant with your kid ok, cause i think she will barf halfway through the show with all the being-pregnant-will-tear-your-tummy-apart scenes. oh, and bring your IC cause it's NC16.

-

some of my fav lines in Juno:

Juno MacGuff: If I could just have the thing and give it to you now, I totally would. But I'm guessing it looks, probably like a sea monkey right now, and I should let it get a little cuter.

Juno MacGuff: You should have gone to China, you know, 'cause I hear they give away babies like free iPods. You know, they pretty much just put them in those t-shirt guns and shoot them out at sporting events.

Vanessa Loring: Your parents are probably wondering where you are.

Juno MacGuff: Nah... I mean, I'm already pregnant, so what other kind of shenanigans could I get into?

Juno MacGuff: Are you kidding? Everyone at school is always grabbing at my belly. I'm like a legend. They call me the Cautionary Whale.

Leah: It's probably just a food baby. Did you have a big lunch?
Juno MacGuff: No, this is not a food baby all right? I've taken like three pregnancy tests, and I'm forshizz up the spout.
Leah: How did you even generate enough pee for three pregnancy tests? That's amazing...

very witty quotes to learn to make your mom angry.

anyway, had lunch before the movie at Food Republic and i loveee the lotus and peanut soup at Food Republic. i can finish a thousand bowls of that soup.

can't wait for IT fair to start, then i can squeeze commission out of my boss. tehehe. and i am going drinking with patrick next next week. can't wait to see my siamese twinnnn. *rubs*

loves to all.
