hate tp for being so slow in updating new timetable. totally irritating. bakerzin called to ask for my working schedule for next week already lah. sighhs.

chiong-ed tuition today for straight 3 hours. i am richer by $60 today! hahahaha. love exams period for these kids cause of the increased tuition frequency.

Bakerzin got a terrible power failure today from 12pm to 4.30pm. don't ask me about the technical terms, i totally have no idea what caused the blackout. the moment i step into Bakerzin, and i heard EEWW~. hahaha. the lights were all off, no drink blenders, no hot water bah bah. and everyone was so worried about the cakes and ice creams and macaroons. but it's really fun to try working in the dark to give as much service as possible. like we gonna use a torch to walk around the kitchen and we got to hold the torch for the barista to make drinks. good experience!

everything went back to normal after 4:30pm. operation as usual. joven held me back till 6pm to help out. and of course i gladly stayed back. hahaha. i love my job! Gordon came to help out around 5 and i can see him dance around at the bar area. funny manager (:

anyway, sth random. i cut my finger twice while packing the cakes. damn. and i heard one of the chefs, hua zai, is on MC. sth related to heart problems. hope and pray he will get well soon. he's such a witty guy! =(

oh! and 2 days ago, a french customer came and i ONLY welcomed him in french (pls lor, only bonjour monsieur) then he assumingly thought i am a french pro and bahhh out all the boo-boo and ah-ah. i think he realised his mistake for assuming a Singaporean girl to be able to speak perfect french then he introduced himself to me in a very awkward heavily accented english and asked to be friends. damn. i should pay more attention in my french class. HAHAHAHA. he is so good looking can. and all i could blurt out was:

"Je ne parle pas tres bien francais!" (i can't speak french very well)

damnnn. so embarrassing can. and then and then, he smiled and started to talk to me and i can't really understand because the accent was really horrible so i decided to ignore him. sighhs.

was working yesterday as usual and i saw wanyan, peijun and jin chou! haha. these 3 balls of love came ytd to my workplace as they were walking around orchard. so nice to see them. miss them alot too! (:

work for 11 hours yesterday, constantly standing up. by the time we close, i was almost dead. my legs were numb and i couldn't stand properly with my heels on the ground. as expected, my legs cramped the entire night and the pain was so bad that i couldn't sleep.

NO MORE 11 HOURS SHIFT.

didn't go to work today cause i am sick!

yes. finally reported sick after the many-days-torturous flu. it's good though, i can finally get some precious rest time.

it's really weird when i start to miss Bakerzin when i am at home resting. but when i am there working, i feel like flying home to my bed. what exactly is wrong with me?

anyway, i lost my temper at work yesterday. so unprofessional i know. but i didn't really scream at anyone or whatever but i just stopped talking to people (not customers of course). but listen to the number of bull shit i got to solve.

1st:
the i-am-customer-so-you-god-damn-waitress-better-serve-me-free-glasses-of-water nonsense.

come on people. look at my boss's picture right at the front of the menu and look back at me. DO I LOOK LIKE THE GUY IN THE PICTURE? he is the one who set the rule, saying that 'we don't serve water, we sell evian' kinda thing! so stop giving me all the shit stares and scream in my ears 'WHAT? not even normal water!?' Please get a life. coming to such a place, you better get ready to pay for every single thing that is on your table lah. even kopitiam don't serve free glasses of water right?

so yes, i got a really bad attitude from 4 customers.

'what?!' *turn to her korean friends and gossip in korean*

AHHHH! i should have just pour the water on her and throw her down from 2nd storey and make her run like a mad woman along orchard road and never look back to paragon again.

i should have make her shiver whenever she sees 'Bakerzin' sign.......

but i didn't. i smiled, apologised for the mistake order, went in the the kitchen and &#%*#%^#%.

Quek sent me in to the kitchen yesterday to request the chefs to repair one of the cakes he accidentally damaged while arranging it. i went in, and get a earful from one of the chefs when it is not even me! and mind you, the whole kitchen is just so happy and nice except that particular emo chef. one of the chefs, Cai Yan, looked at me apologetically cause she know it's not my fault, yet i have to tolerate the scolding from this particular chef.

' chef, 可以修这个蛋糕吗？'

' 你不要一直以为 chefs 很空闲可以吗！'

' 都不是我弄坏的！是别人叫我进来弄得！'

i chose the 1st option and the entire kitchen shouted 'SIAO AH!'. just pretty funny afterall.
