okay, i just called jingting to ask about the opera test. apparently, the lousy system was so laggy that the test time was extended for a class because the class couldn't finish the test. i heard they might have to retake the test in order to be fair to the cohort.

like, LOL. why can't they just remove the component and save us the headache? be flexible lahh...

anyway, had DPD presentation today and my group represented the international hotel chain. very very very very funny session because we're supposed to develop pulau ubin in view of our own hotel chain interest, but there are also other stakeholders such as government, developer and residents. so basically, everyone has to present their views on how the development should be in order to benefit themselves.

MY GRP: we'll have the longest cable car linking from esplanade to ubin, which serve as an attraction and a mode of transportation.

DEVELOPER: so the longest will also be the slowest lah?

MY GRP: yes, but it will be an iconic attraction. we do have other mode of transportation too if they are looking for sth faster.

DEVELOPER: is it feasible or not! so long you know. 17.9km leh!

MY GRP: everything is possible! i thought you said you have the expertise to do so!

DEVELOPER: oi, we are not adidas hor. (Impossible is Nothing)

DEVELOPER: OH, government can put ERP if they want lor!

DEVELOPER: SORRY HOR, i thought you guys said you won't build another casino in another 30 years time...

'GOVERNMENT': we have decided to make amendment to this policy because it will benefit the economy and allow us to reach the targeted visitor arrivals...

DEVELOPER: OHHH, TRUE, you all always right one...
