in almost every restaurants in hong kong, they will usually serve you a brownish hot liquid after you have been seated down. at first, i almost drank the liquid. luckily dad stopped me and told me that it is used to sterilize my cutleries. first, pour the hot liquid in a big bowl, dump in your rice bowl, chopsticks, tea cup and spoon. after that, pour the liquid in your tea cup and drink it. HAHA. cause the brownish liquid it's tea! disgusting right! you drink what you use to wash. hahaha. was shocked initially but got over that part already.
