met lingwei ytd at Olympic station to look for....

SINGAPORE FOOD. ((((:

wanted to eat roti prata, hokkien mee, ice kachang etc.

BUT, damn sad. there's no hokkien mee or roti prata! how can food republic have no hokkien mee! THAT'S SO WRONG ok. must improve! tsk. but very happy to see the sign ' Food Republic'. you will feel that warm feeling coming up to your heart..... hahaha. emo.

and there's bread talk! okok. i sound so sua ku.

so, we ordered this chicken curry baked gratin, hoping to find some typical sg-style curry. it was heavenly. really ok. can really find traces of sg in that dish. hahaha. i miss sg already! ): and to our surprise, THERE IS ICE KACHANG OK. hahaha. damn high. we ordered one to share BUT it tasted different! i think they didn't use the brown sugar. gula sth. ahhhh. sad.

lingwei and i were discussing and observing hongkongers lately. we realised they all got GOOD COMPLEXION despite the very bad and polluted air! we did the spot-the-poor-skin game but found very very very few people with bad complexion leh! so envy of them. maybe it's because of the tea they take? or the soup? or the herbal stuff? ahh, no idea.

met lingwei's friend, Dan, at Tin Hau station. Dan brought his parents and girlfriend too. Dan and his family are from Malaysia, but Dan is currently working in a Hong Kong HSBC bank at Central. It's really heartwarming to know that people from our neighbouring countries are taking such great care of us like we are their own people. like jean, my landlord, she's from malaysia too! like so nice right. Malaysians are taking such great care of us. WHERE IS THE LOVE, SINGAPOREANS?

we went to this street in Tin Hau, where a Mid Autumn Festival celebration was carried out. REALLY HOT weather, with LOADS of people. but it was really worth the wait! so local, not those staged performance like Chingay you see in Sg. It's really simple, yet authentic. really nice. and we spotted a very PRETTY girl. drools. haha.

after that performance, we went to 'Park n Shop' to buy some groceries. she took a cab home after that and i walked home.

meeting lingwei today to explore mongkok cause we got no chance to explore ytd. and feeling adventurous, we will be hopping onto any bus and make our way to nowhere! hoping to discover somewhere nice (:
