i got so much things to blog, because there are so many funny things happening around me. but too tired to think back. oh, and i'm now qualified to send F&B orders to guests' rooms alone! finally not doing some boring manual tasks.

director: how are you adeline?

me: i'm great sir. thanks..

director: are you learning anything here?

me: yes! of course...

director: i see. and who's teaching you?

me: erm... (think back of what is taught in school about bootlicking and wiping bosses' ass)

me: in fact, everyone is teaching me. i'm learning from everything they say.

director: *deep belly laugh* oh come on, don't bullshit with me.

me: no no! i'm serious! (:

director telling manager: this girl is smart. she's good.

hahaha. i didn't know mr nair's business etiquette classes were useful. in fact, i think it works brilliantly in the working world. people just need someone to clean their backside. and i will do the job to survive (:

met lingwei after work today. she was 'enjoying' her off day today alone, so she asked me out for dinner. dined at yong kee, one of the famous restaurant in HK. pictures with her so i can't post up yet.

then we went to ParknShop (sth similar to NTUC) below my apartment to get some tibits before heading up to my place. we decided to watch a french movie rented by lingwei, called 'Paris'. totally lost through out the movie. but got this very close to the heart line in the movie.

'the man pretended to be in love, and he became the man in love.'

quite true isn't? not that it is applying to me or anything, but i just find it very true.

lingwei and i will be heading to disneyland next week! pictures soonnnn lovesss.
