a brand new week for me at work as i was transferred to the office in in-room dining. no longer running like a crazy dog around the hotel and serviced apartment, no longer sweating and smelly at the end of the day. in fact, this time round, i'm learning how to earn with my brain.

loads of paper works await me once i enter the office at 7am. stacking up as high as me, i will have to swallow every details painfully. working in a dynamic industry is not easy. changes happen all the time.

change in room --> change in amenity --> change in charges of amenities sent --> change of guest's status --> follow-up previous room and its amenities.

so i kept going back to those files, canceling out, adding in, editing... god, and that goes on and on until 11:30am, when my trainer will reward me 45 mins of break time. and after my break, the cycle will continue until 4pm.


the office i'm working in. facing computer, micro system and papers all day.

and when is my favourite time of the week?

time spent with my close friends in four seasons of course.

don't you think this looks like pizza? very refreshing ingredients are used in this dish such as cucumber, tomato, and some crunchy fruit bits, all on top of the prawn crackers-like crust. yummy!

Flora and I ordered Lassi, a kind of milkshake. lol. damn cool.

Hari got damn emo during the dinner which was kinda funny. haha. it was kinda a farewell dinner for Flora and Carson because they have already completed their internship and both of them are going back to school.

Carson: come come, cheers to Hari!

Hari: hai, i am so sad. flora and carson going back to school. and adeline is going back to sg on jan. i'm so sad. i will be alone soon.

Flora: Hari! don't be sad la! you getting married next year and you can have a wife to accompany you.

Adeline: nevermind... you still have T what... (T is a bitch in the dept)

Hari: 0.0

and when is my favourite time of the day? (can't possibly have one 1 happy day in a week right...)

to go home and do random funny stuffs with my roommate aka landlord - JEAN.


so that day, she suggested that we can have a mini christmas tree at home.


so she went digging her cupboard and managed to pull out this dusty tree with assorted ornaments.

so we decorated the tree together, and...


tadahhh! my very first christmas tree, tho it is so darn small... haha.

but jean was still not satisfied with the results yet.

'let's make a christmas curtain...' she said.


and so we did. the end result was fabulous, but my camera was too lousy!


with ornaments like that, we made our very own christmas curtain!

hohoho. merry christmas.

and ytd jean and i decided to watch a dvd together.

'let's make it more romantic!' she said.


and so she did. we lit candles instead of using the boring lightbulb. hahaha.
